		<description><![CDATA[<p>The flexible heating cables are manufactured by winding a heating wire around a fibreglass core. They can be insulated with different materials such as silicone, PVC and fibreglass. The selection of the materials depends on the working temperature. It is possible to add a special metal braid on the external insulation to protect the cable from mechanical stress and improve its thermal distribution. The metal braid acts as well as grounding. The possibility to differentiate the specific charge within the hot area, enables to obtain different temperatures in different parts of the same item. The technology with incorporated cold parts is available as well. Sedes offers the cable already cut and finished according to customer needs, or wound on coil. The flexible heating cable can be completed by accessories such as 2-pole plugs for connection, clamp with screw for application to different dimensions and models.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>The Serpentine Triple Pass Heaters are designed to provide a controllable, high-temperature source of hot air. Offered in two sizes, the Serpentine II is available with replaceable heating elements rated at up to 3.6 kW, and the Serpentine VI up to 6.0 kW. The Serpentine Triple Pass Heaters are capable of producing extremely high exit air/inert gas temperatures, up to 1200°F (650°C) with standard heating elements, and as high as 1500°F (815°C) with the “Two-Stage” heating elements. Low thermal mass results in an extremely fast response heater, taking only 6 seconds to reach peak operating temperatures. With control systems available from OSRAM SYLVANIA, exit temperatures can be con-trolled to ±2°F. The unique design of the triple-pass heat exchange housing uses the incoming air to cool the outer shell prior to directing it over the Serpentine Heating Element. Radiant heat losses are eliminated and installation design and opera-tor safety are simplified. The replaceable Serpentine Heating Elements allow for quick changeovers, minimizing down-time.</p>
